SmartSite® Plus Needle-Free Valve

The SmartSite^® Plus Needle-Free Valve with Positive Displacement is a product designed to enhance the safety of clinicians and patients by providing passive needle-free access to intravenous (IV) systems.

With only three parts, the SmartSite^® Plus Needle-Free Valve has the least number of parts found in any needle-free valve currently available with the internal piston serving multiple purposes. By reducing the need for caps, cannulas, and add-on components it is more cost-effective than other needle-free systems. The "snap-together" design of the SmartSite^® Plus Needle-Free Valve makes it more versatile to integrate into other configurations, eases manufacturing and speeds up qualification times.
