ASENA Infusion System
 |
ASENA Infusion System |
The ASENA Infusion System
has been designed to meet the needs of the International markets,
particularly in Europe, where the use of syringe pumps are favoured.
The number of infusion pumps required per patient is increasing.
Dealing with multiple instruments around a patient bed is often
difficult due to lack of space. With its new unique Medical Device
Interface (MDI) the ASENA Infusion System offers
the easiest way of overcoming these problems.
The ASENA Infusion System
comprises the ASENA Docking Station, the ASENA
GW Volumetric Infusion Pump and a choice of syringe pumps, from
the ASENA Syringe Pump range. The Medical Device
Interface (MDI) allows the mounting of an ASENA
Infusion System to the ASENA Docking Station -
no adapters are required. Mains and communications are automatically
connected.

ASENA
CC Syringe Pump |
The ASENA CC Syringe Pump,
is just one of a range of ASENA Syringe Pumps.
The ASENA CC Syringe Pump, with its variable pressure
monitoring system, helps reduce some of the risks associated with
undetected occlusions, as the user can select the appropriate pressure
levels to suit the needs of the individual patient. This may be
particularly important for critical infusions, when drugs with a
short half-life are being infused, in the adult Critical Care or
in the Neonatal Unit.

ASENA
TIVA Anaesthesia Syringe Pump |
The ASENA TIVA Anaesthesia
Syringe Pump is an infusion delivery system, specifically designed
to meet the needs of the Anaesthetist. With infusion rates of 0.1
to 1200ml/hr, it combines ease-of-use with flexibility and maximum
control with the facility to pre-programme up to 50 protocols, including
Total Intravenous Anaesthesia (TIVA) and other applications. The
advanced display provides excellent visibility and all relevant
information on one screen.

ASENA
Volumetric Infusion Pump |
The ASENA GW Volumetric Infusion Pumps
can be used as a stand-alone device or as part of the complete ASENA
Infusion System. Small and lightweight they take up very little
space. The ASENA GW Infusion Pumps are ideal during patient
transport and in helping to make patient ambulation easier. An intelligent
pressure sensor will detect many changes in the infusion conditions,
kinked tubing for example. The design includes a free-flow protection
system, which helps to reduce the risks associated with accidental
free flow.
